Life
Barry was born as a son of Micahel Watson and Linda Watson. He was third among the four children. When he was just eight years old, his family moved to Dallas in Texas. There he started his modeling career. He also attended Dallas Young Actors Studio.
When he was just fourteen years old, his parents separated. Afterwards at the age of 15, he relocated to Burbank, California where he signed a six month contract with “Days of our Lives”. However later on Barry came back to Texas and completed his graduation from Richardson High School in the year 1992.
Career
At the age of 19, Barry moved to LA where he started working in car parking and on the other hand continued auditioning roles. Then he appeared as a guest star in various TV series like “Baywatch” and “Sister, Sister”.
Then he got an opportunity to appear in a minor role on “Malibu Shores”.
Then in the year 1999, he appeared in his first film, “Teaching Mrs. Tingle”. In the year 2006, Barry got a chance to appear as a main lead Brian Davis on “What About Brian”.
Through WB’s 7th Heaven Barry gained stardom. On this show he portrayed the role of Matt Camden.
Personal Life
In May 2002, Barry was diagnosed to be suffering from Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which was cured after treatment.
Barry’s first marriage was with Laura Payne-Gabriel in the year 1996. He got separated from Laura in December 2003. Presently, Barry is in his second marriage. Barry then joined up with his high school classmate Tracy Hutson.
Barry got engaged with Tracy on August 3, 2004 and finally married her on July 14, 2006. With his second marriage, he has a son, Oliver, who was born on May 2, 2005. This couple welcomed their second baby boy on November 13, 2007. His name is Felix. Now this complete family is putting their stay in LA.
