Life
Catherine was born a daughter of Walter Hicks and Jackie. She belongs to an English and Trish descent. When she was a kid, her family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. Catherine went to Saint Mary’s College (Indiana). And afterwards, she also attended University of Notre Dame, from where she perused her studies in theology. Catherine is a Roman Catholic. She is currently residing in Bel-Air segment of LA with her husband, Kevin Yagher, a special effects specialist. Catherine is also mother of a daughter Catie.
Career
Subsequent to her appearance in the stage adaptation of “Tribute”, she was seen in “Ryan’s Hope”. After this, she worked in “The Bad News Bears”. Then in the year 1980, her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in “Marilyn: The Untold Story” is like a milestone in her professional career, as she was nominated in Emmys for this role.
Then she got an opportunity to play the main lead as Amanda Tucker alongside Tim Matheson as Rick Tucker in “Tucker’s Witch”. It was a comedy detective show of just 12 episodes.
Her other acting experience embraces her appearances in “Garbo Talks” (1984), as Dr. Gillian Taylor in “Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home”, “Peggy Sue Got Married” and in “Child’s Play
